Had a great time with friends! We enjoyed the beautiful gardens and did a circular walk in the Bickerton Hills. The 45-minute audio tour was really informative and fun. Don't miss out on playing croquet in the gardens!
We faced some issues with our check-in process, which took longer than expected.

The stay at Hawkstone Hall was impressive. The grounds looked beautiful, perfect for a stroll. The decor in the room had a unique charm. I loved the little touches like the welcome letter and high-quality toiletries. Attentive staff made me feel valued. I faced a few issues. The room was noisy due to nearby laundry operations, and the bed's mattress was worn, affecting my sleep. Breakfast was fantastic, with plenty of delicious options.

Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous.
I arrived to a stunning view of the grand hall as I was warmly greeted with a glass of champagne, setting a luxurious tone for my stay. The breakfast was a dream, especially the eggs benedict with the most incredible hollandaise sauce! Plus, interacting with adorable llamas and donkeys added a playful twist to my experience.

The beautiful decor and friendly staff made for a charming experience, though the road leading to the hotel felt unwelcoming at first. Despite a few minor flaws with my dinner, including a disappointment regarding the Yorkshire pudding, the overall ambience and customer service truly shone through.

This was just an optimal selection for exploring town in Shrewsbury with a good price-quality ratio. The staff were really attentive and went out of their way to rectify any dining issues, which made a huge difference. If noise is a concern, consider requesting a room away from the entertainment area.

missingWrote a review on 01 Maybeautiful gardenscozy decornoisy laundry
The classic double room featured beautiful decor and a cozy atmosphere, making it a pleasant retreat. The stunning landscaped gardens provide a picturesque spot for strolls and relaxation, showcasing a variety of flora and fauna.
The mattress in the classic double room was quite tired, causing discomfort during sleep. spinning it 180 degrees offered slight improvement, but it couldn’t deliver a restorative night’s rest. noise from the laundry machines below created disturbances past midnight, which could interrupt the peace you're hoping for. Dinner had its flaws too. while the chicken was moist, I noticed the yorkshire pudding served was cold and the potatoes lacked warmth, making for a rather lackluster meal. Morning coffee was also tepid and not strong enough to kickstart the day. Though the overall experience remained enjoyable, these details could impact a guest's comfort.
